Album Gugutke

The album Gugutke is an acoustic snapshot of a captured moment - a bouquet of songs created during a rainy week in February on the farm in Šentjernej. The group closed itself in a barn-library-studio and recorded a collection of tunes it loves most: mainly folk songs and dances, enriched with an original Tročan by Gal Golob and with "Magija" of Boban Markovic.

The recordings were made in late winter, so they carry calm, focus, and a slightly sleepy softer energy that sets them apart from concert performances. Live, the same songs bloom in different seasons, with different color and strength, so the album offers an intimate, almost meditative insight into a repertoire that is constantly changing and growing. It is exactly in this duality - between the captured moment and the living flow - that the special power of the record lies.
